Pacquiao vs Mosley

It's a month to go on Saturday May 7, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nevada, eight division champion Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao will put his WBO Welterweight title on the line against "Sugar" Shane Mosley at the MGM Grand.
Mosley, 39-years-old, armed with his heavy punch and offensive skills, must be in top shape to be able to defend his long, decorated career of 46W-6L-1D record.

Manny Pacquiao, on the other hand, 33-years-old, dangerously menacing his power, speed, and stamina is diligently training to protect his 52W-3L-2D overall record.

Shane Mosley who is bigger and higher at 5"9', with a wingspan of 74 inch will be capitalizing on his 7 inches reach advantage over Pacquiao. As a boxer-puncher, Mosley aims to land some hooks. “Manny is going to come forward and I will hit him on the chin at some point. His defense is not like Floyd's. Manny will come at me, and I will knock him out."

Boxing using a southpaw stance, Pacquiao's speed and power punches will be the key factor in ensuring a humble victory. Pacquiao has knocked out several opponents who were larger than him. "He is faster than [Antonio] Margarito, and he's a much better boxer. But I don't think he's going to last the distance. I think my guy (Pacquiao) will knock him out" claimed Freddie Roach.

Okay boxing fans, it’s time to weigh the odds. Will Shane Mosley deliver one of the best upsets in boxing history? Or will the Pacman still reign as the number 1 pound-for-pound lord of the ring?
